Professor Naji Qatanani is currently the Dean of Scientific Research at An-Najah National University. Professor Qatanani holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sunderland in the UK. He also holds a Master's degree in Engineering Mathematics from Newcastle University in the UK. He holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Stuttgart University in Germany, and currently holds the rank of Professor of Applied Mathematics.

Professor Qatanani has published more than 40 research papers in international scientific journals and has supervised more than 25 Master's and PhD students. He is the Chairman of the Editorial Boards of An-Najah Research Journals and a member of the editorial boards of several international journals. His research areas are diverse in the field of physics, integral equations, numerical methods for solving multiple problems in the fields of physics and engineering, as well as problems in the field of fluid dynamics.
