Nisreen Riad Asaad Yousef Al-Hajj earned her PhD in Organic Chemistry from Bordeaux University in France, where she studied at the PhD School of Chemistry from 2017 to 2020. Her thesis was titled "Molecular engineering of azidoorganosilane-based SAMs for bioapplications," focusing on the field of organic chemistry.

Prior to that, Nisreen completed her Master's degree in Organic Chemistry at An-Najah National University in Palestine between 2010 and 2012. Her thesis was related to the manufacture of cellulose polymers extracted from olive pomace.

She began her academic journey at An-Najah National University, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Applied Chemistry from the College of Science between 2006 and 2009.
