Yahia Aqel is an Instructor at the Arab American University, based at the Jenin Campus. His academic specialization lies in Linguistics and Translation, with a strong focus on English language instruction and writing pedagogy. He is actively involved in both teaching and training roles within the university, contributing to student development in foundational and advanced English language skills.
Mr. Aqel holds a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics and Translation from An-Najah National University and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Translation from the Arab American University. In addition to his academic duties, he has also served as a Teaching Assistant and Trainer, supporting language learning and academic excellence across various programs.
His teaching portfolio includes a diverse set of undergraduate courses, with a focus on language proficiency, writing, reading, and communication skills. Fluent in Arabic, English, and German, Mr. Aqel brings a multilingual and multicultural perspective to his classrooms.
He was honored as the Best Debater in Palestine (2017) under a British Council program, reflecting his strong communication skills and engagement in national academic initiatives.
