Bassam Rushdi Raddad: A Palestinian professor from the village of Seida in the Tulkarm District. He holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, UK. He worked at several British universities for more than ten years before joining the United Arab Emirates University.
He has published numerous scientific studies in the fields of molecular genetics and genomic medicine. He is the recipient of the Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Scientists (2019) and the Khalifa Award for Education (2018). He has also been selected as a member of the editorial boards of several international scientific journals specializing in genetics.
