Amin Al-Jayousi: A Jordanian physician of Palestinian origin from the village of Kour, in the Tulkarm district. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery, and a Master’s degree in Internal Medicine from the University of Jordan. He serves as an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar and is a researcher in diabetes and endocrinology, with more than 30 internationally published scientific papers.

Dr. Al-Jayousi joined Hamad General Hospital in 1982, where he worked as a specialist in internal medicine before becoming a consultant in endocrinology and diabetes. He co-founded the Qatar Diabetes Association in 1996 and is actively involved in training resident physicians and specialists in endocrinology and diabetes, as well as teaching and conducting research in these fields.

He has received the Excellence Award from Hamad Medical Corporation for his outstanding service to diabetes patients, along with several other local and international awards.
