Munther Al-Dahleh: An American engineer and academic of Palestinian origin from Tulkarm, he is a member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He served as a visiting professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at the California Institute of Technology and has held consulting positions with several companies in the United States and abroad. He is internationally known for his fundamental contributions to robust control theory, computational methods for controller design, the interaction between information and control, fundamental limits of learning and decision-making in networked systems, and detection and mitigation of systemic risks in interconnected networked systems.
