Fahd Hakim: An American pediatrician of Palestinian origin from the city of Nazareth, specializing in the fields of lung and sleep at Rambam Medical Center. He led a scientific research project in collaboration with the University of Chicago in the United States and other universities when he spent two years in the United States in the laboratories of Professor David Gozal at the University of Chicago. This research caused a global sensation as soon as it was published in the Journal of Cancer Research. He has presented and continues to present many scientific research projects at Rambam Hospital and the Technion Institute in Haifa, in collaboration with Professor Asia Rolls and the American University of Chicago.
