Dr. Jihad Mahmoud Hussein Aghbaria holds a PhD in Sciences with a specialization in Botany from the University of Jaén, Spain, completed in 2014. He obtained his Master's degree in Sciences, specializing in Olives and Olive Oil, from the same university in Spain in 2011. He earned his Bachelor's degree in General Agricultural Sciences, specializing in Plant Production and Protection, from Hebron University, Palestine, in 2003.

He worked as a teacher in the Education Directorate in Southern Hebron from 2004 to 2008. During the period from 2004 to 2006, he also worked with Agricultural Relief as a trainee and mentor.
