 Professor of Law, holds a PhD in Civil and Commercial Procedure Law, and a presidential decree was issued appointing him as a member of the Supreme Constitutional Court, effective 06/01/2021 AD. His Excellency Judge Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Talahmeh worked for more than 22 years in the field of university academic work, where he worked at Al-Balqa Applied University (1999-2006) and Birzeit University (2007-2021). He rose through the academic ranks; He started with the rank of teacher in 1999 AD, then assistant professor in 2006 AD, then associate professor in 2013 AD, then he obtained the rank of professor (professor doctor) in 2020 AD. At Birzeit University, he held several positions, including: Director of the Master of Laws Program, Head of the Law Department, and Director of the Summer Course, in addition to chairing and serving as a member of many committees and councils at the university.
The judge got it During his career, Al-Talahma obtained degrees in law, government work, and legislative drafting from several universities and specialized research institutions in Germany, France, and America, and served as a member of more than twenty public, private, and academic bodies at the local and international levels, including: Membership in the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Judicial Institute (2015-2021), He is a member of the Arab-German Academy of Research Scholars in the Sciences and Humanities (AGYA), based in Berlin, where he was chosen as one of 26 members out of 320 Arab and German candidates (2014-2019). He is an editorial and consulting member in peer-reviewed international legal journals.He has many legal research papers published in local, regional and international peer-reviewed scientific journals, and a collection of books, articles and interviews. He has participated as a speaker in a large number of important local and international conferences, seminars and meetings dealing with academic and legal issues. He has also reviewed a large number of research papers submitted for publication in a number of journals. He also supervised and participated in the discussion of more than 60 master’s and doctoral theses in law at local, Arab and international universities.

Professor Dr. Talahmeh is licensed to practice law by the Jordanian Bar Association and the Palestinian Bar Association. He worked as a legal advisor in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 2006-2007 AD. He also worked as a team leader, expert, and legal advisor for a number of local and international institutions, including: (NDC), (UNDP). (EU), (USAID) (BTC), (NET), Aman Foundation, the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Governorate Affairs Unit of the Palestinian Presidency, the Arab Women’s Legal Network, and Talal Abu Ghazaleh Corporation. 

He has more than 23 years of experience in the field of human rights work, legal consultations, drafting laws and regulations, and evaluating legislation. Since 2000, he has conducted training in legislative drafting and specialized topics in private law and the principles of civil and commercial procedures for a large number of experts and researchers (university professors, legal advisors, Judges, prosecutors, lawyers, heads and members of local bodies) in Palestine and a number of Arab countries. He participated in writing the cases of some local and Arab mock trials, and worked as a trainer and arbitrator in mock trial competitions at the regional and international levels, including: the Arab Moot Court Competition, and the Willem C Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, Vienna, Austria.

He also implemented many joint academic projects and activities in a number of Arab and European countries with Arab and German researchers and academics.
