Yousef Munayyer: An American writer of Palestinian origin from the city of Nablus, he holds a bachelor's degree in political science and history from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He served as the editorial editor of the Massachusetts Daily while at the University of Massachusetts. He is also the executive director of the Jerusalem Fund for Education and Community Development and its educational program and the Palestine Center. He is an active and frequent contributor to major American newspapers on the Palestinian issue, civil and human rights, and US policy in the Middle East.
