A Palestinian poet, was born in I'billin, Galilee 1931. He finished his primary education in his village, secondary education in Safed; he then joined Dar al-Mu'almen in Yafa 1951. Khalil worked in teaching from 1970-1984; president of Ibillin Local Council (1969-1971) and established its secondary school in 1969; a founding member and secretary of the Arab Writers Society 1974. Khalil was interested in arts, so that he founded a theater group, along with Izzat Kahlil in Ibillin. Died in 2001.
