Born in Daraa, Syria in 1954, of Palestinian origin, finished his elementary education in Syria; editor of (Falasteen al-Thawra) magazine in Beirut, he then moved to Romania, Bukhara, where he received his MA in Media and journalism in 1982; continued his work as an editor of the magazine. Returned to Palestine in 1994, currently works at the Political and National Guidance Commission, head of the Department of Arts.
