Asad Yildiz: A Turkish businessman of Palestinian origin, he started his work as a knafeh maker at the age of 14. He established his own place of business in 1970 in Ceyhan, Adana district. He opened his first knafeh shop in Antakya in the Köprübaşı area under the name Keral Knafeh, then in Mersin in 1998. Since then, he has continued to open his various branches throughout Turkey. His ancestors, who migrated from Palestine to Antakya, were the first to bring knafeh sweets to Turkey, and they also taught the original method of making knafeh to knafeh masters in Türkiye.
