Yasser Ahmed Al-Shantaf is a Palestinian businessman from the city of Gaza. He traveled to Germany after receiving the Konrad Zuse Scholarship, awarded by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which focuses on research and development in the field of information technology. He earned the scholarship after his project proposal was selected from among 53 proposals submitted worldwide.
Al-Shantaf currently serves as the CEO of Phoenix Bird Diversity Management in Berlin and is also the Chairman of the Board of Phoenix Bird Systems and Information Technology. He has provided consultancy services to several international organizations, including the World Bank, the European Union, and the American Friends Services Committee.
He is a founding member of the German-Palestinian Economic Council, a member of the Global Business Forum in the USA, a member of the International Chamber of Commerce for Youth, and a member of the Diplomatic Cultural Institute, in addition to being affiliated with the Palestinian Information Systems Companies Union. Al-Shantaf is also actively involved in initiatives supporting the Palestinian community and economy.
