Armando Yufali Qattan is a Salvadoran trader and businessman of Palestinian origin from the city of Jerusalem.
He obtained a PhD in Chemistry with a score of 98%, which is considered a record at the University of El Salvador, an institution that is more than 150 years old. He also established additional offices specializing in physics, chemical engineering, journalism, and media.
He has chaired several professional unions in higher sciences, including the Salvadoran Federation of Engineering and Architectural Associations, which includes around 36,000 engineers.
In addition to his academic background, he is a successful businessman whose philosophy is to establish multiple companies that support one another without unlimited expansion, ensuring that each company remains under direct supervision. He owns and contributes to various companies operating in fields such as coffee, clothing, food products, and television, among others.
He believes he has achieved his professional goals; however, he holds a personal aspiration of guiding the people of El Salvador—and later Latin America—toward Islam, relying, as he states, on God’s help to achieve this vision.
